Solarverse connected app

ChatGPT connector privacy

The Solarverse connector is conversational and read-only. It can explain information you are already allowed to see in Solarverse; it cannot change data or control equipment.

Permissions

Portfolio

Visible workspaces, plants, roles, and health summaries.

Production

Measured and expected production for explicit date ranges.

Incidents

Current symptoms and permitted suggested checks.

Savings

Immutable finalized calculations and their recorded assumptions.

Authorization stays in Solarverse

Connecting ChatGPT does not expand your access. Every request is checked against your Solarverse account, selected workspace, capabilities, individual plant grants, and database row-level security. Client users receive sanitized incident evidence. Device credentials, source bills, internal registers, and unrestricted alert records are never exposed.

Data and retention

Solarverse processes the delegated access token and tool call needed to answer your question. The connector does not store your prompts, conversation, or tool arguments.

Operational logs contain a request ID, tool name, bounded resource IDs, duration, outcome, and a non-reversible shortened user hash. They do not contain authorization tokens or response bodies. Solarverse core services and stored operational data remain in approved EU infrastructure.

ChatGPT receives the authorized result to answer the conversation. Its use and retention are controlled by your OpenAI product and workspace settings. Disconnecting revokes future refreshes; an issued access token expires within 15 minutes.

Read-only means read-only

The connector cannot upload a bill, acknowledge an alert, create a ticket, dispatch a technician, edit a plant, or operate an inverter. Those actions would require separate permissions and a separately reviewed product flow.
